Engie E&P UK is set to close its London headquarters as the French-owned company looks to run its UK operations from offices in Aberdeen.

Maria Moraeus Hanssen, chief executive of Engie E&P International, told Upstream the decision comes as part of wider reorganisation for the company, which is expected to be implemented in the second half of the year.

Hanssen said in an exclusive interview it was too early to say if jobs would be cut but admitted it was likely there would be “some staff who are unable to transfer from London to Aberdeen”.
