The Zohr-2X probe on the Shorouk block flowed at a constrained rate of 44 million cubic feet per day, Eni said on Thursday, with 120 metres of the reservoir opened up to production.
"The comprehensive set of data collected and analysed have proved that the well has a great production capacity, which is estimated in a deliverability of up to 250 MMcfd in production configuration (about 46 thousand barrel of oil equivalent per day)," the operator continued.
