MEO told the Australian Securities Exchange on Monday that the jack-up drilling rig Ensco 104 had arrived on location in Block NT/P68 over the weekend after completing the Evans Shoal North-1 probe in the neighbouring NT/P48 permit.
Preparations are now under way to spud the well this week. It has a planned depth of 3360 metres below the rotary table and drilling is expected to take about 65 days, MEO said.
