The companies have won a 10-year extension of the production licenses for the Rhourde Oulad Djemma (ROD) reservoir, its satellite fields and three fields in Block 403.
BHP Billiton is also a ROD partner.
ROD started production at an initial rate of 18,000 barrels per day in November 2005.
The project involves the development of six fields - ROD, SFNE, RERN, BSF, RDB and RAR - all of which are located on exploration blocks 401a/402a, around 800 kilometres south-east of Algiers in the Sahara Desert.
