Australia-listed well partner Neon Energy said the prospect, located in the offshore Block 120, was chosen as a “play finder” well because it is considered to offer the best chance of success of finding hydrocarbons at a number of levels.
The Ca Ngu-1 well will be drilled in 270 metres of water, to a total depth of up to 1500 metres.
