Eni has signed agreements for the evaluation of exploration and production activities onshore and offshore Bahrain.
The Italian major said it had been invited by the Bahrain authorities to study and assess the potential of certain E&P assets in the Country.
For this purpose four agreements were signed between Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco), Tatweer Petroleum and Eni.
The Italian company said it will have access to E&P data to assist in its study, which will be followed by an assessment of future initiatives in Bahrain.
