Eni said the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources had approved that the Egyptian Natural Gas Holding Company can grant Eni the Zohr development lease.
The development plan envisages a start up by the end of 2017, with a progressive ramp up until reaching a volume of about 75 million cubic meters per day of gas (2.7 billion cubic feet per day) by 2019.
