Offshore driller Ensco won a number of new rig contracts and extensions and sold one out-of-work unit for scrap, according to its latest fleet status report.
Semi-submersible Ensco 8503 looks to have a busy several months of work ahead, bouncing between three different Gulf of Mexico operators from this month through August 2017.
The dynamically positioned rig is currently drilling under a short-term contract for privately held Talos Energy.
