ESS Support Services Worldwide Offshore (ESS) said it will be responsible for catering for all personnel in the canteen, mess room and recreational areas as well as the maintenance of the cabins, on-site gymnasium and recreational rooms.
Maersk Highlander has a capacity to hold 150 personnel which will include 18 ESS Offshore staff. The contract will run for three years.
Earlier this year, operator Maersk Oil bought the newbuild jack-up after previous owner Hercules Offshore could not pay the final delivery costs.
