US independent EV Energy Partners sold a package of assets in the Barnett Shale play for $52.1 million and used the proceeds to buy additional acreage in the Eagle Ford Shale.
The Barnett asset package included proved reserves of 94.6 billion cubic feet of natural gas and 13 million cubic feet per day of production. In total, it represented about 16% of the company’s Barnett assets.
