The London-listed junior said on Friday that Russia’s Ministry of Natural Resources had registered the extension, which covers 53.7 square kilometres of land immediately bordering the north-eastern edge of EWS-1, which is known in Russian as West Kayumovsky.

The extension area is close to existing oil production infrastructure and two of the company’s well pads, 5 and 7.
