Under the terms of the agreement, Origin will purchase up to 432 petajoules (407,372 million cubic feet) of natural gas over nine years from the plant, located near the town of Sale in the Australian state of Victoria. The purchase price is undisclosed but Origin said the price indexation “initially reflects current pricing arrangements in the market and transitions to incorporate an oil-linked mechanism”.
