The US supermajor has held talks with potential buyers though it is not running a formal sales process, unnamed sources familiar with the matter were quoted as saying by Bloomberg.
The company operates the Ringhorne, Balder and Sigyn fields off the country, with another, Jotun, being shut down, though it has interests in more than 20 producing oil and gas fields.
