Seismic specialist FairfieldNodal is preparing to conduct back-to-back surveys in the North Sea starting in April.
The first 4D shoot will cover around 325 square kilometres on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS). The second survey, about 59 square kilometres on the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS), is a repeat of a previous shoot.
FairfieldNodal will acquire the data using is Z700 system, which is designed specifically for "ecologically sensitive environments and shallow waters crowded with infrastructure," the company said in a release.
