The test was the second to be conducted at the Anadarko Petroleum-operated Barquentine-1 well in the block, with the well flowing gas at an equipment constrained rate of about 100 million cubic feet per day with minimal pressure drawdown.
The testing targeted a deeper Oligocene sand formation than was previously tested Barquentine-2 in March, project partner Cove Energy said in an announcement to the London Securities Exchange.
