Santos said today its total oil production in the quarter ended 30 September 2016 of 528,900 barrels was lower than the previous quarter "primarily due to Fletcher Finucane being offline from early August due to a communications fault".
The company added that options to restore production are being assessed.
Fletcher-Finucane is a subsea completion tied back to the FPSO Modec Venture 11, which is located on Santos' Mutineer-Exeter oilfield.
