The floating production market is expected to recover, according to research from the Energy Maritime Associates (EMA), which has forecast that around $86 billion will be spent in the next five years.
In its 2017 to 2021 Floating Production Systems Outlook report, EMA analysed recent activity and trends, looking to develop a forecast for all floating production systems, including floating production, storage and offloading units, floating liquefied natural gas units, floating storage and regasification unit, tension-leg platforms, spars, semisubmersibles and floating storage and offloading units.
