The deal aims to tap Fluor’s engineering and fabrication expertise in managing the fabrication facilities in Zhuhai city, Guangdong province of China’s top offshore engineering, procurement, construction and installation contractor.
In a deal endorsed by state oil giant China National Offshore Oil Corporation - the parent of COOEC - Fluor will hold a 49% interest and COOEC a 51% stake in COOEC-Fluor Offshore Heavy Industries, located in Zhuhai.
