The Oslo-listed rig contractor already intends to scrap one semi-submersible rig, Borgny Dolphin, in the fourth quarter and has two more units laid up out of its remaining fleet of eight drilling rigs, while an accommodation unit is also idle.
However, FOE now faces stacking of another rig, Borgland Dolphin, after its contract expired last month with a further three units destined for the same fate as they come off their charters shortly.
