Freeport-McMoRan Oil & Gas on Friday filed a request with the US Securities & Exchange Commission for the immediate withdrawal of the registration statement filed on 23 June 2015.
"At this time the Company has determined not to proceed with the initial public offering contemplated by the registration statement," Freeport-McMoRan said.
It did not provide a specific reason why it was pulling the IPO filing.
