Frydenberg noted that during Australia’s recent investment boom, the oil and gas industry had largely enjoyed a bipartisan approach in Canberra between the Liberal-led Coalition and Labor Parties, which had been critical of the industry’s success.
“Sadly, however, there is now a real difference between the coalition and the Labor party’s approach to good policy in this area,” Frydenberg told delegates at the APPEA Conference in Brisbane on Monday.
