Fugro did not disclose the customer, but Upstream understands privately-held Walter Oil & Gas is using Fugro Synergy for at least one of the wells.
The Fugro unit is said to be replacing Cal Dive’s semi-submersible dive vessel Uncle John, which is understood to have been working for Walter when a fire broke out in an engine room in January, sending it to the shipyard.
