Gas2Grid further plans to conduct a three-well drilling campaign using the Gardner Denver 500 SCR rig, which is expected to arrive in Cebu from Taiwan in mid-June
On arrival, it will undergo maintenance at the Gas2Grid yard in SanFernando, before spudding the first of the three wildcats in August.
The rig, which can drill to a depth of 2750 metres with a 114 millimetre drill pipe and 3660 metres with an 89 millimetre drill pipe, will be staffed by Philippines-sourced rig crew with Gas2Grid employing its own drilling engineers.
