The Australia-listed explorer said its company-owned drilling rig Rig-2 had been mobilised to the site of the first well – Jacob-1 – and was rigged up.
The company is awaiting customs clearance for some imported parts for the rig but expects to start drilling operations by the end of September. The drilling programme was first planned to start in August.
Drilling of the Jacob-1 well will be followed back-to-back by the drilling of Gumamela-1 and Ilang-1.
