After signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) two years ago, Gazprom and CNOOC are looking into way to co-operate over the development of oil and gas projects and in the liquefied natural gas sector.
The bosses of Gazprom and CNOOC met on Monday to review "the potential avenues for joint activities, namely relating to hydrocarbon exploration and production, as well as the liquefied natural gas sector", the companies said.
