Gazprom Neft spuds lateral at Palyanovsky

Russia’s Gazprom Neft has spudded the first lateral well in a four-well horizontal drilling programme aimed at tapping the Bazhenov shale formation at the Palyanovsky deposit at its Krasnoleninsky field in western Siberia.
