The two companies aim to co-operate in hydrocarbon development, joint liquefied natural gas projects, LNG and LPG trading.

Under the agreement, the pair will also work together and “exchange of experience in the oil and gas industry”.

The MoU was signed during a meeting between the chairman of Gazprom, Alexey Miller and PTT’S chief executive Tevin Vongvanich, with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and his Thai counterpart Prayut Chan-o-cha also in attendance.
