The US engineering giant is pushing ahead with new research and development centres, taking a long-term view on its operation in Brazil, even as the industry there reels from the fall-out of the Petrobras corruption scandal.
GE Oil & Gas has nine research centres, with the main one in upstate New York and others in India, China, California, Oklahoma City, Munich, Rio, Israel and a manufacturing centre in Detroit.
