The agreement to collaborate on integrated solutions for floaters is expected to see the pair jointly offer topsides packages to the industry by early next year.
The aim of the collaboration is to reduce construction delays and cost overruns for deep-water projects, incorporation digital solutions to optimise FPSO performance and provide predictive analytics through the life-cycle of the floater. Ultimately the companies are looking to drive down deep-water field development costs.
