Under a $150 million deal, GE Oil & Gas will supply liquefied natural gas turbocompression technology to the train, which will add a production capacity of 3.6 million tonnes of LNG per year to the Petronas LNG complex in Bintulu, Sarawak.
GE said it would provide a fully integrated solution for the project, including compression equipment and variable speed drive systems from GE’s Power Conversion business.
