Global Maritime subsidiary Global Maritime Deep Sea Mooring will provide Quadrant with mooring and rig positioning services for both semi-submersible and jack-up operations on the North West Shelf.
“This is a significant turnkey mooring contract and we look forward to developing a close cooperation with Quadrant Energy,” the managing director of Global Maritime Deep Sea Mooring Australia, Barry Silver, said.
News of the contract award comes the same day Quadrant's joint venture partner in WA-482-P, Karoon Gas Australia, revealed the semi-submersible Ocean America was mobilising to drill the Levitt-1 exploration well off Australia.
