Global will carry out mooring and rig positioning services for the semi-submersible Ocean Monarch which is drilling at Woodside's Julimar field off Western Australia.
It revealed on Tuesday that mobilisation and offshore operations had already commenced in May.
Woodside picked up a 65% stake in the Julimar-Brunello gas development as part of its US$2.8 billion deal earlier this year with US independent Apache which also included a stake in the Chevron-operated Wheatstone liquefied natural gas project.
