Results of the CHK 1199 well are expected in about five weeks time. The primary objective of the well is to accelerate production from the oil reservoirs that produce from the previous CHK 1168 well, and from several older shut-in oil producers.
Wireline logs from the CHK 1168 well identified several reservoirs that are interpreted to be prospective and are expected to be present in CHK 1199, according to Interra Resources, a partner in the joint operating company.
