Eni has restarted production on Tuesday from its Goliat oilfield in the Barents Sea off Norway after a month-long shutdown following a power outage on the field’s platform.
Production from the cylindrical floating production, storage and offloading unit was halted on 26 August after gas was detected in an unwanted area during planned venting of gas as part of maintenance work, Eni disclosed in a statement.
