The 7122/10-1S probe will be drilled at the Goliat Eye prospect in Eni-operated production licence 697 to the south of the field, where production remains suspended following a power failure last month.
Its primary target is the Triassic-aged Kobber sandstone formation that is already being produced from Goliat’s floating production, storage and offloading vessel, with secondary objectives in the Snadd and Klappmyss formations.
