Gulf Island income drops

Louisiana-based Gulf Island Fabrication today reported net income of $6.2 million on revenue of $85.0 million for its first quarter ended 31 March compared to net income of $13.4 million on revenue of $123.7 million for the first quarter ended 31 March 2008.
