Dwellop’s proven cantilever solution involving mobile drilling units that can be installed on fixed platforms will now be deployed on the Abu Dhabi-based fabricator’s self-propelled SESVs under the newly minted three-year exclusive partnership between the pair.
The initial two cantilever systems are scheduled for delivery later this year, with the first intended for well intervention with wireline and coiled tubing and the second to be equipped with the workover rig, according to a statement from Dwellop.
