Gulfsands to look beyond Syria

London-listed Gulfsands Petroleum will look at opportunities outside Syria after European Union sanctions forced the company to stop exploring for oil there six weeks ago.

Turned off: Gulfsands will stop exploring for oil at its Block 26 project in Syria due to EU sanctions against the country.
