Tulsa-based H&P, along with the operator contracting its rig and other subcontractors, paid Joshua Keel $72 million to end Peel’s court claim that the group was “negligent and negligent per se, acted recklessly, intentionally, and/or with an utterly wanton disregard for the rights and safety of the plaintiff,” according to a filing by H&P with the US Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC).
