Halliburton received a £10,000 ($13,000) fine after admitting health and safety failures that lead to the injuries suffered by a truck driver who was hurt at the company’s Clyde facility just outside Aberdeen on 17 March, 2014.
The Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday described the unloading operations, which the worker was contracted to handle, as "inherently dangerous", but reduced the initial fine of £15,000 due to the early plea of guilty.
