The 2005-built platform supply vessel Havila Princess has been sold to a Faroese company called P/F Bakkafrost, erstwhile owner Havila Shipping said on Monday.
The Norway-flagged unit “will leave the offshore service vessel market and will be operated in within the aquafarming industry,” the Oslo-listed player said.
No sale price was given, although Havila said the transaction represented “no loss” for the company and would have a “limited effect” on its financial results.
