The latest units going idle are the Hercules 200, 214 and 251 and 253, the US driller said in its latest fleet status report.
The decision leaves the company with 14 cold-stacked units and three ready-stacked units in the Gulf of Mexico region.
A fifth rig, the jack-up Hercules 120, will also be cold-stacked after it rolls off contract with Chevron on 1 March, Hercules said.
