The US independent's pile installation was completed in 2015 and equipment had begun to be set on the topsides, chief operating officer Gregory Hill told investors on a conference call.
In 2016, the company aims to complete construction of the main deck and begin offshore and subsea installations at the block.
Development drilling is also slated for 2016, Hill said. Hess has the Diamond Offshore drillship Ocean BlackLion on site in Green Canyon 512 and is understood to have begun work late last month.
