The US independent is performing two acid jobs at the reservoir to combat a problem with "skinning", or decreasing permeability around the wellbore.
It is also working to release a stuck valve at one of the wellheads at the field, which produces via Williams' Gulfstar 1 spar.
The company expects the work will help it to achieve net production of 25,000 net barrels of oil equivalent in 2016, chief executive John Hess told investors on a conference call.
