The US independent has joined the roll of companies requesting pre-qualification for the country's highly anticipated inaugural deep-water round, joining supermajors Shell, Chevron and Total.
Details were divulged last weekfor those players, who are among the big companies that had been expected to keeping an eye on the nation's deep-water potential.
An updated count from Mexico's National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH) indicates that 16 unidentified companies have expressed interest in the event, while eight have been cleared to access data rooms.
