Joint venture partner 3D Oil revealed the jack-up West Telesto has spudded the exploration well in permit Vic/P57 on Monday.
The well is expected to take between three and four weeks to reach a total depth of 1800 metres and is targeting a a best estimate prospective resource of 11 million barrels.
