Well partner 3D Oil revealed on Wednesday the drilling of the Sea Lion-1 well in Vic/P57 has been pushed back until late August as the jack-up West Telesto, which has been signed on for the well, has not yet been released from the nearby Yolla gas field where it is working for Origin Energy.
It added that while the operator was still hoping to spud the exploration well this month, the handover of the rig was weather dependent.
