The platform jacket for Castex Energy’s shallow-water Hummer development has arrived on location off the coast of Louisian, in the US Gulf of Mexico.
Joint venture partner Petsec Energy revealed Thursday the platform jacket had arrived on site following “a short weather related delay”.
The installation of the four-pile, three-slot structure is expected to take place within the next seven to 10 days over the Main Pass Block 270-3 Hummer discovery well in a water depth of 215 feet.
