Hurricane revealed Friday that preliminary third party analysis of the 205/21a-7 well indicated a hydrocarbon column of at least 620 metres was present in the basement extending well below structural closure.
Hurricane said this confirmed its reservoir model for the Lancaster field, while adding drill stem testing of the basement reservoir yielded a maximum, natural flow rate of 6600 barrels of oil per day and a maximum flow rate of 11,000 bpd.
