According to an incident report summary submitted to the Saskatchewan government by Husky, the leak was found on the evening of 20 July on the south shore of the river, but the pipeline was not isolated and shut down until 14 hours later on 21 July.
Husky's vice president of exploration & production services, Al Pate, would not comment on the discrepancy and said nothing can be confirmed until a formal investigation is complete.
